Claude Code Review is out of preview: reviews in 6–10 minutes, not 20
Claude Code Review is out of preview for Team and Enterprise: Quick, Standard or Deep depth per repository and automatic review of every new change.
Claude Code Review is out of research preview: Anthropic made it generally available on October 15, 2026 for Team and Enterprise plans. It is the automatic code review inside Claude Code, and according to Anthropic most reviews dropped from about 20 minutes to 6–10 minutes.
What Claude Code Review is and what changed
Claude Code Review checks the new changes in your repository without anyone having to ask for it. During the research preview it was slower; with this release, Anthropic says most reviews take about three times less. Mind the fine print: it says "most," not all.
The three things you set up once
- Automatic review. Once it is on, it runs on every new change in the repository, with no extra setup per change.
- Depth per repository. The admin picks Quick, Standard (the default) or Deep. The announcement gives no timings or costs per level, so test them on your own code.
- Activation. You turn it on in the Claude Code settings, install the GitHub App and choose the repositories to cover. It requires GitHub.
Credits for Enterprise organizations
Eligible Enterprise organizations can claim at least $10,000 in Code Review credits until January 15, 2027. The credits expire 30 days after you claim them and terms apply. It is not for every Enterprise account: only for eligible ones.

How to apply it in your business?
If your team already works with pull requests on GitHub and has a Team or Enterprise plan, start with one low-risk repository at Standard depth and measure how long a review takes today against how long it takes with Claude Code Review. Then move to Deep only where a mistake is expensive. Instead of waiting for a review slot, your people can keep writing the next change.
